About Greenhouse Grant Writing

Greenhouse Grant Writing offers essential fundraising services to nonprofits. Just as a greenhouse makes it possible to grow plants year-round, Greenhouse Grant Writing enables the possibility for nonprofit growth through foundation and corporation partnerships.

Prior to launching Greenhouse Grant Writing LLC, I was a teacher in Dallas ISD from 2012-2014. After receiving a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I accepted a role as Curriculum Manager with a small nonprofit in Dallas, developing the elementary through high school curriculum for after school and summer programs.

In 2017, I took a position as Curriculum Director with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, writing the elementary after school and summer curriculum for the 80+ site locations around the Dallas Metroplex. In 2019, I transitioned to the Grants Manager role with the Y to assist in raising funds through foundation and corporation grants to positively impact all populations receiving services. I wrote and submitted upwards of 100 grants annually in the areas of education, community health, and social services.

During the spring of 2020, I began reaching out to various nonprofits to assist with grant writing. The high interest level regarding fundraising assistance led to the development and formation of Greenhouse Grant Writing.
